Benfica's press office informs that the club has signed a training agreement with Ukrainian goalkeeper Ihor Kostenko.
It is reported that 16-year-old Kostenko is already in his third season with Benfica. Previously, the footballer was in the system of Dynamo Kyiv. He is a graduate of the academy of the capital's club.
We would like to add that signing a training contract after the age of 16 legally establishes the club's responsibility for the player's accommodation in proper conditions, his food and access to medical care. After the player reaches the age of majority, the club and the player sign a full-fledged agreement.
