Mykola Nesenyuk: "Shakhtar has fulfilled the task!"

A well-known Ukrainian journalist Mykola Nesenyuk briefly summarised Shakhtar Donetsk's European Cup season.

"Last week, one of Shakhtar's managers tried to explain to the people why the team's owner spent around 25 million euros this winter to invite two Brazilian players: "I don't want us to go abroad and lose 0-5, 0-7, it's impossible" - end of quote. Yesterday's game against Marseille showed that the manager was right - Shakhtar lost only 1-3. It's not 0-7 or even 0-5! So the investment in the Brazilians paid off - the task is done!" Nesenyuk wrote on Facebook.
