Yuriy Vernydub: "I was very pleased with Monzul's appointment. I am proud of her work"

Kryvbas head coach Yuriy Vernydub expressed his opinion on the appointment of Kateryna Monzul as the head of the Ukrainian Referees Committee.

"Judging by the number of changes that are taking place in our football now... This is the arrival of Andriy Shevchenko as UAF President and the change of other UAF leaders, I hope it is all for the better. I was also very pleased that Kateryna Monzul was appointed chairman of the Referees Committee. I am proud of her work. Yes, she also made mistakes, but the way she worked as an arbitrator inspires optimism. I expect her to make changes for the better in Ukrainian refereeing," Vernydub was quoted as saying by Kryvbas' official website.
