On Sunday, 25 February, the 18th round of the Ukrainian championship will take place, with Dynamo Kyiv playing away to Metalist 1925 Kharkiv. Despite the away status of the match for the Kyiv team, the match will take place at the Dynamo Stadium named after V. Lobanovsky and will start at 15:30.

Dynamo won two of the matches (in the Kharkiv team's debut season in the top flight and in the first round game of this season), and two were drawn (both last season).
Dynamo scored 7 goals against Metalist 1925, some of which were scored by players who no longer play for our club - Viktor Tsygankov, Denys Harmash and Eric Ramirez, who is on loan to Colombian side Atletico Nacional. Interestingly, Denys Harmash will play for Metalist 1925 from the second half of this season.
Among Dynamo's current players, Nazar Voloshyn is the top scorer in the Metalist 1925 rivalry, having scored a double in the first-round match between the teams. Vladyslav Vanat and Maksym Dyachuk scored one more goal in the same match.
Of the current players of the Kharkiv team, three have scored for Kyiv - Artem Habelok, who scored in the last match of last season, as well as Vladyslav Dmytrenko and Andriy Remeniuk, who scored goals in the first round match of this season, although the latter has already been released from the Kharkiv team.
In addition, Metalist 1925 has three players who have scored goals for Dynamo while playing for other clubs. These are midfielder Vladlen Yurchenko, who scored two goals for the White and Blues, first playing for Zorya in the 2019/2020 season and last season for Vorskla, striker Andriy Boryachuk, who scored for our team in the 2017/2018 season as a member of Mariupol, and Ghanaian forward Raymond Owusu, who scored for Zorya in the 2021/2022 season.
