- It was the first official game after a long break, so there was a lot of excitement from the opening minutes. But then they took control of the game, scored seven goals and generally tried to do what we asked of them.

- Dynamo also defeated Metalist 1925 7-0 in the first round. Did you foresee that today's game would turn out like that?

- We don't look at the results, but first of all at the quality of the game and the fact that the guys do what we ask of them. And the result is a confirmation of the team's actions on the pitch. It's great that there is both a result and, to some extent, a game.

- At the end of the match, it seemed that the players had already started to "pull the blanket" on each other...

- This is normal, because everyone wants to prove themselves. Moreover, today we had young players by the standards of the U-19 championship, there were three debutants - guys who came from the Academy. Therefore, there was a noticeable thirst for the fight, they wanted to prove themselves. This is normal. When the score allows, we do not put them in a box, we give them the opportunity to show their best qualities.

- What are the results of the training camp?

- The training camp was quite fruitful, we did all the work we had planned. Thank God, there were no injuries - there were micro-injuries, but we completed everything we planned and are approaching the official matches in pretty good physical shape.

We started the new year well, with a victory. It is clear that the guys are not yet in optimal condition, but we will gain them over time. Of course, no one has removed the task of becoming champions, so we will strive for it.

- During the training camp, the team was close to the main squad, some of them trained with the first team. How useful was it?

- It's definitely great when two teams can train together, the youngsters can see how their senior partners train. They see what the requirements are, and they have the opportunity to join the process. For them, getting into the first team is a dream, and seeing it at arm's length is invaluable for them. Moreover, the old-timers of the main squad are willing to communicate with the young ones, give some guidance - both football and life. This is very, very good.

- You said that the team avoided injuries during the training camp, but Roman Salenko is missing. What is his condition?

- You know, I am a supporter of the Dynamo saying that there are no irreplaceable players. We have other young players in his position. So we wish Roman a speedy recovery and look forward to his return.

- Did Vyacheslav Surkis also miss today's match due to injury?

- Yes, he had an unpleasant injury - spontaneous, unexpected. But everyone has to go through this. I hope he will recover soon and fight for his return to the first team.
