"Chelsea has the worst transfer balance in the last five seasons

The CIES Football Observatory has published a ranking of clubs with the worst and best transfer balance over the past five seasons. Chelsea of London was the worst, with a balance of minus 782 million euros, while Benfica of Portugal had a balance of plus 354 million euros, which is the best indicator.

It is noteworthy that the top 5 anti-rating includes only English Premier League clubs: "Manchester United (minus €773 million), Arsenal (minus €622 million), Tottenham (minus €608 million) and Newcastle (minus €574 million).

Alongside Benfica, Ajax Amsterdam (plus €349 million) and French side Lille (plus €282 million) have shown the best transfer balance over the past five seasons.
