The former coach of Dynamo Kyiv, Mircea Lucescu, received huge salaries in Turkey and Ukraine and, according to Romanian websites, his fortune is estimated at 37 million euros.
This figure appeared in the local media as Mircea received an offer to sell a plot of land he owned in Iași for €10 million. Lucescu Sr. refused, allegedly because it is his wife Nelia's hometown and the land is from the area where she grew up. The land is now an orchard, and the buyer would like to develop it.
