Brighton head coach Roberto De Zerbi spoke about the back injury to winger Kaoru Mitoma before the FA Cup match against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
"I think we've lost Mitoma for the rest of the season. I think he's out for two or three months, so the season is over for him," De Zerbi was quoted as saying by Brighton's press service.
This season, the 26-year-old Japanese played 26 matches for Brighton, scoring three goals and making six assists.
