"Pure collusion! Another underhanded victory for Shakhtar, - former Karpaty CEO on the scandal with the Oleksandriya vs Shakhtar

Former Lviv Karpaty CEO Oleksandr Yefremov has spoken out about the situation surrounding the match between Oleksandriya and Shakhtar in the 18th round of the Ukrainian Premier League (0-0).

It will be recalled that Ivan Kalyuzhnyi, who was not registered for the Oleksandriya club in the UPL this season, played for the home side in this match. "Oleksandriya has already pleaded guilty and now the team is almost guaranteed to receive a technical defeat for the match against Shakhtar.

Alexander Efremov

"It's a pure conspiracy. They gave 4 million hryvnias, or maybe 8, and they pleaded guilty. Against the backdrop of a possible loss of 50 million euros from the Champions League, this ($200,000) is not money at all.

Another underhanded victory for Shakhtar. Yikes...

And yet I want there to be an investigation into the incident. I want all those involved to give explanations: UPL, UAF, Oleksandriya, as well as the referee and the match delegate. Under the current UPL competition regulations, this is organisationally and technically impossible.

Shakhtar gave triple bonuses, and everyone at Oleksandriya agreed to play a fool. Shakhtar has always been an expert in conspiracy theories..." Yefremov wrote on Facebook.

вообще-то, это косяк УПЛ. Потому что в официальном приложении УПЛ игрок значился, как игрок Александрии и имел возможность быть включенным в заявку.
