Spanish goalkeeper David de Gea continues to be without a club after his contract with Manchester United expired.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona are interested in the 33-year-old goalkeeper, who sees de Gea as an ideal replacement for Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
After suffering a back injury during the international break in November, ter Stegen underwent surgery, which kept him out of action until early February. In his absence, Iñaki Peña defended the Blaugranas' goal.
