Spanish side Girona are interested in Dynamo Kyiv defender Oleksandr Tymchyk, reports Football 24.
In the 27-year-old player Catalans see a replacement for the rented from Manchester City until the end of the current Jan Kout.
According to the source, "Girona" has been following Tymczyk for a long time. The Spanish club plans to pay no more than 3-4 million euros for the Dynamo defender. Such a transfer could have taken place already this winter, but Girona temporarily abandoned this plan because of the Ukrainian's injury, because of which he trained individually during the entire off-season training, and only this week returned to work in the general group.
It is also reported that Girona are going to return to the topic of the possible acquisition of Tymchyk at the end of the season.
