Shakhtar Donetsk has yet to pay Ajax Amsterdam for the players it acquired before the war, according to the Dutch club's official financial report.
Donetsk bought Lasina Traore and David Neres from Ajax for a total of €6.8 million, and this debt is still outstanding, the document says.
In fairness, it should be noted that Ajax understands the reasons for the late payment: it is due to Russia's war against Ukraine, the report says.
