"Manchester City and England lose Grealish

Manchester City midfielder Jack Grealish will be out of action for the next few weeks and is unlikely to take part in the England national team's upcoming friendly matches against Brazil and Belgium. This was announced by Citizens coach Pep Guardiola at a press conference before the derby with Manchester United on Sunday.

Jack Grealish

Grealish was substituted in the 38th minute of last week's 6-2 win over Luton Town in the FA Cup. He suffered a groin injury that has ruled him out of the next four games at least.

- I don't think Jack will be able to play for England this month. I have spoken to Gareth Southgate and explained the situation to him. I don't think he will be ready for these games. I don't know when he will be able to return to the game, but it will definitely not be this week. The most important thing is that he recovers well. But it's a recurring injury for him and we need him to be fully fit to make the most of him," Guardiola said.
