Head coach of Polesya Yuriy Kalitvintsev summarised the results of yesterday's match with Cherkasy LNZ (0:1) in the 19th round of the Ukrainian championship, commenting also on the unfortunate mistake of his team's goalkeeper Denis Boyko, which led not only to a goal, but also to the loss of three points (in the third minute of the second half, the goalkeeper played directly to LNZ player Denis Oliynyk and the latter sent the ball into the goal).
"In the first half we were a bit worried - we really wanted to please our fans in the stands of the stadium. At the same time there was a lack of team movement.
After the break, we increased our speed, took control of the game, and our ball control was also good. We had a lot of penetrating passes and many chances for a goal. But, in the end, there was no one who could set the mark.
And what happened at the end of the match was, of course, a mistake, individual skill. But it's football, it happens," said Kalitvintsev in a commentary for the UPL TV Youtube channel.
