Dynamo Kyiv head coach Oleksandr Shovkovskyi commented on the 1-0 victory over Chornomorets in the Ukrainian Premier League matchday 19 on the TV channel.
Alexander Shovkovsky- Firstly, I want to thank the soldiers who are defending our country and protecting our land. We know what is happening to our cities today - to Odesa, the home of Chornomorets. We all sympathise with the people who lost their families and friends in the night attack on the city. I believe that all those involved in this crime will be punished, and peace will come to our country as soon as possible after our victory.
As for the game. We knew who we were going to play against. We understood how difficult and fundamental the matches with Chornomorets are. We lost the last two games. That's why we prepared the players for a tough game. I believe that despite their mistakes, they played a good match. We could have made the score more, but that's football. We play against ambitious teams that also set themselves goals and fight for points. We also have our own tasks.

- Of course we were. We understood that they would be more aggressive after the break, and we were ready for that. We had great opportunities to complete our counterattacks, but things don't always work out the way you want them to on the football pitch. All teams are ambitious and are preparing for Dynamo.

- Unfortunately, Vitaliy needs to undergo an additional examination. He now has a fixing cast on his ankle. Unfortunately, this happens. And in the training process too. He is one of the leaders and captain of the team, and today he was sorely missed on the pitch.
