Former Liverpool footballer Graeme Souness has spoken out about the four-year suspension for doping of Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba.
"He had the potential to become one of the best midfielders of all time. Instead, he wasted his career. I criticised him, and I don't like that I was right. I saw what kind of player he could become.
The worst thing that happened to him was winning the World Cup, because after that he was able to proudly say: "I'm a World Cup winner". I think his development went in the wrong direction at that point," the Daily Mail quoted Souness as saying.
