In the match against Monza at the U-Power Stadium, Roma won with a final score of 4-1 in their favour. Despite having a goal cancelled early in the first half due to offside, Roma managed to gain a comfortable advantage by halftime. The first goal of the match came in the 38th minute when Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini headed the ball into the net. This was followed by another goal from striker Romelu Lukaku in the 42nd minute, extending the lead to 2-0 before the break.
In the second half, Roma continued their strong play with a goal from striker Paulo Dybala in the 63rd minute, further consolidating their lead over Monza. Leandro Paredes converted a penalty for Roma in the 82nd minute and Monza managed to score a goal by Alessandro Carboni in the 87th minute, but it was not enough to secure the victory over Roma. Throughout the match, players from both teams received several yellow cards for their actions on the pitch. Both teams made substitutions in an attempt to change the course of the game, but in the end Roma claimed a convincing 4-1 victory over Monza in the Serie A match.
