Zinchenko named as Arsenal's 'first out' at Arsenal

The publication Pain In The Arsenal in one of its publications, which is dedicated to the priority transfers of London Arsenal in the coming summer, called the Ukrainian legionnaire of the "canoniers" Oleksandr Zinchenko "the first to go".

Alexander Zinchenko

"Perhaps no one fits this category at Arsenal right now as well as Oleksandr Zinchenko. Despite his outstanding achievements at Arsenal, he has glaring weaknesses when playing in defence (especially when having to play one-on-one) that are unacceptable at the highest level.

The arguments in favour of selling Zinchenko are only strengthened by his frequent injuries and stiff competition for the left-back position: Jakub Kivior has proved to be a worthy replacement for the Ukrainian (Zinchenko has missed Arsenal's last four matches due to a recurrence of a calf muscle injury - ed.), while Takehiro Tomiyasu and Jurrien Timber are close to returning from injury.

In addition, in the summer, only two years will be left before the Ukrainian national team player's contract with Arsenal expires. Given this fact, as well as the age of the player (27 years old), the next transfer window is a good time for the club to make money on the sale of the player.

Fans should not overlook the impact Zinchenko has had on Arsenal and the role he played in the team winning the vice-championship title in the 2022/23 season, but his high injury rate and weaknesses in his game suggest that his departure in the summer would make a lot of sense," the publication wrote.

Його б ще на ворота поставили, а тоді думали що з ним після цього робити. Він півзахисник, центральний до того ж, а не крайній захисник. Ця його нова позиція захисника - це фантазії Гвардіоли і Артети.
