Shakhtar's sporting director Dario Srna said that he did not know that Oleksandriya did not list midfielder Ivan Kalyuzhny for the Ukrainian Premier League match against Shakhtar on Matchday 18 (0-0).
"Of course, we didn't know. We lost four players in this game: Matvienko, Zubkov, Eginalda, Stepanenko. It's Oleksandriya's fault, not Shakhtar's. I didn't know about it. I found out the next day. The CDC and the Federation must consider the case and decide according to the law how it should be," Srna said on UPL.TV.
It will be recalled that Kalyuzhnyi played but was not declared for the match. As a result, Oleksandriya now faces a technical defeat.
