Sometimes there can be high-profile conflicts between referees and representatives of certain clubs, so it is worthwhile that in some games these referees do not referee matches of teams with whom there is a conflict. Unfortunately, the draw will not separate the parties to the conflict. All these details should be taken into account.

Ultimately, the first round of the UPL showed that there are a lot of mistakes, because our refereeing team has few highly qualified referees, some of whom are at the level of the second league. We need to change the system of referee training. For years, our referees have been going to foreign training camps and sitting at desks, listening to theory and watching TV. But they need practice, they need to officiate matches even in the off-season to gain game experience. I believe that Kateryna Monzul will fix this. I also believe that the new manager will bring objectivity to the refereeing department," said Myroslav Ivanovych.
