In a thrilling Serie A match between Napoli and Juventus at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, Napoli defeated their rivals 2-1. In the first half, Napoli took the lead on 42 minutes thanks to K. Kvaratskhelia's goal. Juventus players D. Vlahovic, Bremer and A. Cambiaso received the first yellow cards in the match on the 18th, 26th and 28th minutes respectively. Napoli's H.J. Traore also received a yellow card in the 47th minute. In the second half the game became even more tense, with numerous substitutions on both sides. In the 65th minute Napoli made three substitutions, replacing A. Rrahmani, P. Zielinski and G. Raspadori with L. Ostigard, H. J. Traore and M. Politano.
Juventus also made three substitutions in the 66th and 76th minutes, releasing T. Vea, J. Nonge Boende, F. Miretti, S. Ilinga Júnior and K. Yildiz. In the 81st minute, Juventus managed to equalise thanks to a goal from F. Chiesa, putting Napoli under pressure. However, Napoli quickly responded with a goal by G. Raspadori in the 88th minute, again consolidating the lead. In the final minutes of the game, Juventus had a chance to equalise from the penalty spot, but Napoli's V. Osimhen missed the opportunity. In the 88th minute, Juventus' J. Nonge Boende received a yellow card and both teams made additional substitutions in the final minutes of the game. Overall it was an exciting match in which both teams showed strong fight. Napoli's victory over Juventus will surely be remembered by their fans for a long time.
