Head coach of "Alexandria" Ruslan Rotan, summarising the results of yesterday's match of his team with Lugansk "Zoria" (0:0) in the 19th round of the championship of Ukraine, expressed dissatisfaction with the level of refereeing in this meeting.
"I really liked my team today. It wanted to win, strived for it and fought not only with the field. We wanted to play football, and even on such a pitch we managed to do it in some places.
In the final phase, we did not realise the chances we had - this is because of excitement, because we want to achieve a result. We need it now more than ever. But I told the guys that they are good. If we continue to work in the same spirit, everything will come - both goals and victories.
As for the refereeing, it was very unqualified in this match. This is the only comment that can be made about it. It is negative. You can't have refereeing not on the side of football. Refereeing should be qualified, and if it is not, it is a problem," Rotan said at the post-match press conference.
