The procedure lasted less than two months. Now the son of Andriy Shevchenko can play for the Ukrainian youth teams. The only thing left to do is to register his football citizenship with FIFA.

According to the source, the coach of Ukraine's U-19 team, Dmytro Mykhailenko, is counting on Shevchenko Jr. The coach sees him as a winger. On 20-26 March, the elite round for the Ukrainian national team is to take place. The first training session is scheduled for 16 March. According to the regulations, an application must be formed 2 weeks before the start of the tournament.

Benfica midfielder Andre Vakulyuk also received a Ukrainian passport. But he was not called up to the Ukraine U-17 national team for the elite round for the right to go to Euro U-17.
