Barcelona's management is close to reaching an agreement on cooperation with Sporting's head coach Ruben Amorim, The Independent reports.
It will be recalled that the current coach of the Blaugrana, Xavi, will leave the team at the end of the current season. It is noted that the 39-year-old Portuguese specialist is also claimed by Bayern Munich and Liverpool.
Amorim has been in charge of Sporting since 2020. During his time with the Lisbon club, the 39-year-old won the Portuguese league and Super Cup, as well as two Portuguese League Cups.
