Bosnia and Herzegovina head coach Savo Milosevic said what he expects from the match against Ukraine in the semi-finals of the Euro 2024 play-offs, which will take place on 21 March in Zenica.
"I not only believe, but I am also sure that the players we have called up for the Euro qualification play-off matches in March are the best that Bosnia and Herzegovina has. We have drawn this conclusion based on what we have already seen, analysed and the kind of football we plan to play.
Is this team capable of beating Ukraine and the possible next opponent (the winner of the pair Bosnia-Herzegovina will play in the final play-off with the winner of the pair Israel-Iceland - ed.)? I am convinced that yes. But, of course, it will not be easy, because the Ukrainian national team is strong in individuality.
I believe that in such matches it is more important to have a strong and compact team that knows what it wants from the first to the last minute. This is what can help us," Milosevic was quoted by the press service of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Football Federation.
