An incredibly funny story took place in the Carioca Liga (Rio de Janeiro state championship) match between Fluminense and Botafogo (2:4).
In the compensated time of the second half of this meeting, when the scoreboard was 2:3, the guests decided to stretch the game in a very original way. When Botafogo striker Jarlen was injured but lying behind the face-off line, the defender of this team Huogo dragged his partner on the field with the expectation that the referee would pay attention to the latter and suspend the game.
However, Fluminense goalkeeper John Arias was not confused in this situation and pulled Jarlen back over the line. Thinking that the problem was solved, the goalkeeper returned to the game, but one of Botafogo's substitutes brought back, or rather, literally pushed the poor man into the field. This time the players of both teams ran to the epicentre of unusual events, and the comical story ended there.
