Ruslan Rotan names Ukraine's Olympic team for the match against Japan

The squad of the Ukrainian Olympic team, which will hold an initial training camp in Hungary and a friendly match with Japan, has been determined. Head coach Ruslan Rotan named the team for these preparations.

The youth national team of Ukraine, led by Ruslan Rotan, reached the semi-finals of Euro 2023 (U-21) and for the first time in history secured a pass to the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

In preparation for the tournament, the Ukrainian Olympic team will hold a training camp in Szeged, Hungary, from 17 to 27 March and a friendly match with Japan (25 March) in Fukuoka.

Goalkeepers: Kirill Fesyun (Kolos Kovalivka), Georgy Ermakov (Alexandria Alexandria).

Defenders: Anton Bol (Zorya Luhansk), Marian Farina (Metalist 1925 Kharkiv), Roman Didyk (Rukh Lviv), Maksym Dyachuk (Dynamo Kyiv), Andriy Buleza (Karpaty Lviv), Oleksandr Martyniuk (Oleksandriya Oleksandriya), Yegor Matsenko (Shląsk, Poland).

It will be recalled that the draw for the football tournaments of the 2024 Olympic Games is scheduled for 20 March in Paris.

As of today, 12 participants of the men's football tournament of the 2024 Olympic Games are already known, who will compete from 24 July to 9 August in seven cities of France: Paris, Marseille, Lyon, Bordeaux, Saint-Etienne, Nice and Nantes. According to the regulations, the competition is open to players born after 1 January 2001. In addition, each team can enter three players who are older than this age.
