Former Polissia captainVladyslav Ohyrya spoke about the details of the early termination of his contract with the Zhytomyr club.
- Vladyslav, how did it happen that after the winter training camp you were thanked and asked to leave Polissia?
- It just happened... It's hard to talk about this situation now. We sat down, talked to Yurii Kalytyntsev and the president Gennadii Butkevych, shook hands and parted ways. I need to play a little more. It's too early for me to call it a day. I feel that, as they say, I still have some gunpowder in me.
- But it was reported that you were going to become a coach, and also a player?
- The decision to terminate the contract was mutual. By agreement of the parties. I have no grudges against the Polissia management or the coach.
- So the point is that you sat on the bench. Did you not withstand the competition in the team?
- I wouldn't say that. There should be competition. It's good when there is. There is no time to relax, you keep yourself in good shape, you are afraid of losing your place in the team.
- You have a lot of experience. Do you already have any options for continuing your career and will you consider offers from teams from the first or second leagues?
- It depends on what these offers will be (smiles). For now, I'll tell you the truth - I'm just sitting at home and resting. However, I repeat, I still have the desire to play, but there is one caveat - there are no options yet. We have to wait, I hope I'll play again.
