According to MailSport, England coach Gareth Southgate is being considered as a potential replacement. The Red Devils' shortlist also includes Brighton head coach Roberto De Zerbi and Brentford's Thomas Frank.
It will be recalled that Southgate's current contract with the national team expires in December, and it is not yet known whether the coach will accept the Football Association's offer to extend it until 2026.
