Ajax midfielder Jordan Henderson recalled his decision to leave Liverpool to play in Saudi Arabia.
"Looking back, I think it was the right time for me as a player, as well as for the team and for the club, although it was very painful at the time. I was very emotional. Now I understand that it was the right decision made by the coach and the club. It was the best decision to freshen things up.
I just hope that the end of Klopp's story will be a fairy tale for him and the boys because they all deserve it. They all work so hard, last season was very difficult in so many ways on and off the pitch, so this season is going so well. Hopefully, they can finish the season on a high and win as many trophies as possible," The Telegraph quoted Henderson as saying.
