Dynamo Kyiv defender Vladyslav Dubinchak commented on his team's 1-1 away match against Veres Rivne in the 20th round of the Ukrainian championship.

- I immediately noticed that there was contact and realised that if there was a VAR review, a penalty would be awarded. Of course, it's very disappointing to concede in the last seconds, to lose points in such an important match for us, which could have helped us move up in the standings. But as it is, we will move on.
- Veres imposed a fight, martial arts - did this also affect the final result?
- Yes, Veres is a team that plays through set pieces and riding. The match was difficult for us. The first half and the beginning of the second half were good, and then, apparently, we started to worry about the score, "sat down" back in our half of the field and allowed the opponent to make these sheds, which eventually led to a missed goal.
- The scenario of today's match was similar to the away match last season, when Dynamo won 1-0:
- "We could say that we were unlucky today.
- Veres did not sit in defence, but also attacked, can we say that this scenario of the game determined the quick goal?
- They have a good team, they have new players on loan, in particular, they took a striker from Polissia who scored today. Now everyone is playing normal football, no one is sitting back.
- What was your excitement about the result?
- In a normal situation, we would have taken control of the ball and tried to push the opposition into their half of the pitch. But here we sat down in our own half and tried to keep the score. It was obvious, and I think everyone understands this, because we also substituted central defenders, because we knew that there would be a top battle. It so happened that we did not hold on to the victory until the end.
- How difficult is the situation in the standings for you? Is it still possible to improve it?
- I hope so. Once again, it's a shame that it happened in the last seconds. Instead of the three points we were supposed to get today, we will take only one from Rivne, but I hope this will not interfere with our plans.
