Zorya Luhansk midfielder Denys Antyukh said what he thinks about the unsuccessful performance of his team in the current Ukrainian championship (11th place in the standings), and also commented on yesterday's victory over Minay (2:0) in the 20th round of the championship, in which he was the author of one of the goals.
- All teams have white and black streaks. Last year we took third place, pleasing our fans with a good result and game. A lot of things changed in the summer. Many guys left our club, there was a change of head coach. All this, of course, affected our results. This is football life, it happens. Now our task is to reverse this situation. We need to gain points and move up in the standings.
- Can you remember your goal against "Minaya"?
- There was a struggle in the centre of the field, we won the rebound and were able to attack quickly, before the guests rearranged themselves.
- When the score was 1:0, did it become easier for you to play?
- Easier, we had plenty of opportunities to win 3-0 before the break, that's the minimum. But we did not realise our chances. In the second half it was emotionally more difficult to play. Only when we scored the second goal did it become easier.
- Do you expect Guerrero to score goals?
- Let's hope that he will score with Dynamo (the match of the 21st round of the Ukrainian championship Dynamo vs Zorya will be held next Tuesday, 12 March - ed.).
