Head coach of Spanish "Valencia" Ruben Baraha spoke about the condition of the Ukrainian striker of his team Roman Yaremchuk, who was injured in the recent match against Real Madrid (2:2) in the 27th round of the Spanish championship.
"Roman didn't train for a couple of days, but he is fine now. Yaremchuk coped well with the recovery and is ready to play with "Getafe" (match of the 28th round of the Spanish championship, which will be held today - ed.).
In general, I am satisfied with the way Roman progressed in our team. For some time he did not play at all, because he could not match the pace that we demanded from him. Then there were matches for the national team. The first part of the season is always difficult for any newcomer to any team.
But his diligence in training led to daily momentum and eventually he gained confidence in matches. This raised his level and brought a lot of value to our team. Now he needs to continue in the same vein. I am happy for him," Baraha said at yesterday's press conference.
