As previously reported, Bayern Munich are interested in Arsenal's Ukrainian defender Oleksandr Zinchenko. The Bayern Strikes publication gave three reasons why the German side should sign the transfer.

Alexander Zinchenko

1- Experience of working under elite coaches

It remains to be seen who will coach Bayern Munich next season, but that won't affect the elite level of football knowledge that Oleksandr Zinchenko already possesses. The Ukraine national team player has been fortunate enough to spend most of his career with Pep Guardiola and Mikel Arteta, two Spaniards who are in the top echelon of tactical minds in Europe.

It's no wonder why Zinchenko loves the game so much, as he learnt from two of the most passionate coaches - both at the same time when Mikel Arteta was an assistant coach at Manchester City.

Thus, Zinchenko could teach something to the current generation of Bayern players - especially those who may have progressed this season, as they have lacked a strong managerial figure.

2. An unrivalled passion for winning

Zinchenko has a pretty solid list of honours. During his career, the 27-year-old has won four English Premier League titles, one FA Cup, four English Football League Cups, a Community Shield title and the title of Ukrainian Footballer of the Year.

It goes without saying that whoever takes charge of Bayern next season will be thinking about trophies. If Bayern go through this season without winning the Bundesliga, then questions will be raised about their pre-existing German dominance. Of course, it will only take one season to get things back on track, but it definitely doesn't look great in its current form.

Zinchenko will arrive at the Allianz Arena with a burning desire to bring Bayern back to its glory days. After all, the Ukraine national team player was a fan favourite at the Emirates Stadium last season for his relentless passion, especially in crucial matches. The Canaries ultimately failed to do so last season, but it wasn't because Zinchenko didn't try.

3- Incredible versatility

A distinctive feature of Oleksandr Zinchenko's style of play is that he has no outstanding features. In fact, he doesn't even have an advantageous position. Seems counterintuitive, doesn't it? But it is not.

The Ukraine national team player is one of the best defenders in the world due to his ability to play in the position of a supporting midfielder or an attacking midfielder, depending on what the game demands. This would certainly help Bayern's new head coach as they decipher their best tactical system. Having a player like Zinchenko building your team as the new head coach would be a dream come true.

Of course, Zinchenko is nominally a defender at his club, but during his time at Arsenal, Mikel Arteta has given him carte blanche to move freely, which has benefited not only Zinchenko himself but the team as a whole immensely. Having a player who is comfortable in possession and who can be 'turned over' is a huge plus, and that is why Bayern should look to utilise Zinchenko's versatility should he sign.
