Brazilian journalist reported that Dani Alves committed suicide

Brazilian journalist Paulo Albuquerque tweeted that his compatriot, renowned footballer Dani Alves has committed suicide.

"It has come to my attention that Dani Alves has committed suicide," the source wrote.

So far there is no official confirmation of this information. Equally as other statements on this matter.

Recall, in late February, Alves, known for his performances for Barcelona, Juventus and the Brazilian national team, was sentenced to 4.5 years in prison for the rape of a 23-year-old girl in a nightclub in Barcelona.
