Zorya players threaten to boycott match with Dynamo: the reason is known

Players of Luhansk's Zorya are threatening to boycott the 21st round of the Ukrainian championship against Dynamo over wage arrears.

"Zorya are threatening to boycott. After the victory over Minaj, the Luhansk team held a meeting, where, among other things, they analysed the match itself. They also touched upon the issue of several months of wage arrears and bonuses.

According to my information, the players raised the issue of immediate repayment. Otherwise, just like the club, they will not fulfil their duties. And if we don't get a response from the management in the near future, we will seriously consider not taking the field against Dynamo.

As far as I understand it, the club is trying to calm down the passions. At least temporarily, to return to this issue during the international break. And so that the team can continue preparing for the match on Tuesday as usual," journalist Igor Burbas wrote on his Telegram channel.
