Head coach of Odesa Chernomorets Roman Grigorchuk commented on the poor results that his team shows in the second part of the current Ukrainian championship (in three matches the "sailors" managed to gain only one point).
"As for the game itself in our performance, I wish we looked better. Although on the other hand, there should be an objective analysis. It's difficult for me to make claims to the players, because we are in a rather difficult situation. However, I do not want to explain everything. I mean at the moment regarding the players, who we have in the squad and are ready to play.
So we realise that we want to be better, but objectively, I am not sure that we can be. Maybe when those players we announced at the last moment will find their form and they will really strengthen us, then we will be stronger.
The biggest problem is that we lost three players: Putrya, Ermakov and Shporn. These are the people who were in that squad and were trained performers, and we had the game. Last year we saw that when one player dropped out, we immediately had certain problems. But here we have three players at once, so it is difficult for us. Therefore, we must find ways to improve our game and, of course, the result," UA-Football quoted Grigorchuk as saying.
