Sevilla's substitutions eventually bore fruit: D. Lukebakio equalised in the 81st minute. In the 86th minute, L. Ocampos added another goal for Sevilla, putting them in the lead for the first time in the match. But Almeria fought back and M. Milovanovic scored a late goal in the 90th minute to save a point for his team. The match ended in a 2-2 draw, with both teams showing great resilience and determination on the pitch. There were also disciplinary offences in the game: yellow cards were given to L. Bade (Sevilla) in the 43rd minute, D. Lopi (Almeria) in the 84th minute and E. Gonzalez (Almeria) in the 90th minute.
