Dynamo Kyiv striker Vladyslav Vanat shared his impressions of yesterday's match with Zorya Luhansk (2:0) in the 21st round of the Ukrainian Championship, in which he became the author of the first goal of his team.
- How did this match turn out for your team in general?
- On the whole, not bad. But the pitch was not in a very good condition due to the weather conditions. I think if the pitch had been better prepared, the score would have been bigger.
- Did you see the ball well in such conditions?
- Yes, I could see the ball well, but sometimes I could not see my partners, because the white uniform merged with the snow. It was a little bit difficult to see.
- Have you played in such conditions before?
- At the professional level - no, only in U-14 or U-15.
- How was it for you?
- It was a little bit hard, but it was good that we won in such difficult conditions.
- Did it add an element of "backyard football", when you played in any conditions?
- Yes. When I was a kid we used to go out and play in such weather. But it's tough. A bit slippery. But nothing.
- Remember how you scored a goal.
- There was a very good pass from Vivcharenko, I took the ball with one touch, saw that the goalkeeper opened the near corner and shot lightly past him.
- This goal liberated your team?
- Yes. I think this match went to the first goal. "Zorya" defended with a lot of players, playing in a 5-4-1 scheme. So this goal helped us to finish this match calmly.
- Did the rumours about "squabbles" in Zorya before the match with Dynamo influence you somehow?
- To be honest, I am very disappointed that such situations happen in our football. Because I want to play against Zorya, which is a very good team, I want to play against their main squad. But I understand the guys: if they are not paid a lot of remuneration or wages, then you have to act somehow. They decided as follows. Of course, it's a shame, but I didn't care who to play against.
