The game, which took place in the Greek city of Patras at the Pampeloponnisiako Stadium, was interrupted in the first half for four hours due to a storm. After the players returned to the pitch before the break, our guys scored twice - first, Stepanov scored from a pass from Strelchuk, and then Redushko doubled the blue and yellow's lead.
In the second half, Stepanov scored a double from Dragan's pass. As a result, Yuriy Moroz's men won with a score of 3-0.
Thus, our guys won three victories, took first place in the group and qualified for the European Championship, which will take place from 20 May to 5 June in Cyprus with the participation of 16 teams. The draw for the final tournament will take place on 3 April in Ayia Napa.
It will be recalled that the draw for the elite round divided 32 teams into eight groups. At stake are 15 tickets to the final stage, which will take place from 20 May to 5 June 2024 in Cyprus. Based on the results of the March matches, eight winners of the elite qualifying round groups and seven runners-up with the best results will advance to the final stage. They will be joined by the host country.
