Dynamo midfielder Volodymyr Brazhko shared his impressions of the match against Zorya on the YouTube channel of the Football Digital project.
Vladimir Brazhko- Last season, you played for Zorya at this stadium. What were your feelings against your former team?
- With the usual feelings. Yes, I played for this club on loan, and I am grateful to the club for the opportunity to prove myself and return to my home club.
- Did you play together with Saputin only ?
- Yes, and I know a few other young players, they trained with us.
- It wasn' t snowing yet in the morning, but it snowed quite unexpectedly. How did it change the game plan?
- It was just uncomfortable to play because the ball kept stopping and I had to make four or five touches instead of two to handle it and pass it. During this time, the opponent can already cover you. It was really difficult.
- In this situation, is it more difficult for the team that attacks more?
- Yes, it is more difficult, because you need the ball to move faster, and we didn't do it very well. And the plan for the game changed somewhere.
- Were long shots also not possible because of the snow ?
- Yes, it was not very convenient. It's very difficult to catch the ball. I tried in the second half, but the ball flew off my foot. Even when you pass the ball, it takes off, and there's nothing you can do about it.
- You are going to the national team. What are your feelings in this regard?
- I'm already looking forward to tomorrow, because it was my dream to get into the national team. It is an honour for me to represent the country and be part of the team. Of course, I'm looking forward to training and getting to know the guys I don't know, feeling the atmosphere. I will give my all and train one hundred per cent to help the team.
- Are there any members of the national team you don't know?
- I know everyone in absentia, but not personally.
- Who was the happiest when you found out about your call-up to the national team?
- My mum. Of course, I was too.
- Do you realise that you can theoretically go out even at the start?
- I don't think about it, because it will be the coach's decision. I will only work, it all depends on me and my competitors on the position. I will give my all in training. It doesn't matter who plays, the main thing is that we reach the Euros.
- Your words to the fans before leaving for the national team .
- We are waiting for your support, we really need it. Glory to Ukraine!
