Chong scored in the 9th minute to put the team ahead. They continued to dominate the first half and goals from K. Ogbene and R. Barkley increased their lead to 3 goals. However, Bournemouth came out firing in the second half and quickly turned the tide of the game.
In the 50th minute D. Solanke put the team ahead, and I. Zabarny and A. Semenyo added two more goals to level the score - 3:3. In the final minutes of the game A. Semenyo scored his second goal of the match in the 83rd minute, completing Bournemouth's incredible comeback and securing all three points for the hosts. Throughout the match both teams made several substitutions: E. Unal, M. Tavernier and T. Adams appeared for Bournemouth, while D. Hashioka, K. Woodrow and A. Townsend appeared for Luton. The result was an exciting and dramatic match, which will surely be remembered by the fans of both teams for a long time. Bournemouth showed character and determination to come back from three goals behind and win an unforgettable victory in front of their home fans.
