Lozano, and in the 58th minute Borussia Dortmund replaced J. Brandt with F. Nmecha. Dortmund made two more substitutions: D. Malen replaced K. Adeyemi in the 70th minute and J. Sancho replaced M. Royce in the 75th.
In the 77th minute Borussia decided to increase their lead with a goal by N. Fulkrug, but the ball was cancelled due to offside. PSV Eindhoven also made several late substitutions: in the 82nd minute J. Veerman replaced R. Pepi, and in the 86th minute Mauro Júnior replaced I. Babadi. The match ended on a high note for Borussia Dortmund: in the 90th minute, M. Royce scored a goal to make it 2-0. The game was not without drama: in the final minutes Borussia Dortmund received two yellow cards: N. Sule and F. Nmecha were warned by the referee. All in all, it was a tense match between two talented teams, but Borussia Dortmund eventually won, playing well and scoring two crucial goals to secure the victory in front of their home fans at SIGNAL IDUNA PARK.
