However, Olympiacos Piraeus quickly extinguished any chance of a comeback with another goal from A. El Kaabi in the 65th minute. As the game progressed, tensions mounted, with players from both teams receiving yellow cards. In the 82nd minute Olympiacos player K. Fortunis received a yellow card, and in the 70th minute Maccabi player O. David received a yellow card. With the score 1:6 in favour of Olympiacos, both teams made several substitutions in the last minutes of the match. Olympiacos' dominance was evident, as they added two more goals from S. Jovetic and Y. El Arabi in the final minutes of the game, sealing an impressive victory. Overall, it was a team performance by Olympiacos, showing attacking prowess and defensive stability throughout the match.
