Catalan football club Barcelona has officially announced that Eduard Romeu has resigned as the club's vice president.
It is reported that Romeu justified his decision by the desire to focus on his work in the energy group Audax Renovables. Romeu also previously worked for Santander and Bankia.
At Barcelona Romeu joined the club in 2021 and has been in charge of economic affairs at the club since then.
