"Tottenham tried to get back into the game, but could not break down the solid Fulham defence. Yellow cards for J. Palhinha and Y. Bissouma added to Tottenham's disappointment as they failed to take the lead. In an attempt to turn the tide, Tottenham made several substitutions in quick succession, bringing fresh energy into the game in an attempt to breathe new life into the game. However, Fulham remained steadfast and held on for a deserved victory. The match ended in a comfortable 3-0 win for Fulham over Tottenham, much to the delight of the Craven Cottage fans. As a result, Fulham moved up the Premier League table, while Tottenham can only reflect on the missed opportunities in this match.
