Bosnia and Herzegovina national team's preparation plans for the match with Ukraine have been ruined

News from the camp of Ukraine's opponent in the semi-final play-off match of the Euro 2024 qualifying round. The national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina is forced to urgently adjust the preparation plans for the match with the Ukrainian national team.

Initially, the Bosnian national team was going to hold all the training sessions at the FC Sarajevo base in Butmir (a suburb of Sarajevo), but these plans will not come true now. The national team will have to work at the Grbavica stadium in Sarajevo, according to the official website of the Bosnian Football Federation, without any details or explanations.

As it turned out, this decision was a forced measure because of the conflict that broke out between the Bosnian Football Federation and FC Sarajevo: the other day, the team left the field during the Bosnia and Herzegovina Cup match in protest against the refereeing.

This change of the training pitch happened at the very last moment and therefore promises some logistical difficulties for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team. The national team chose to stay at a hotel near the FC Sarajevo base, but now will have to add to their schedule travelling to and from the Sarajevo city to the Grbavica stadium.

However, such a regime for the opponents of the "Blue-Yellows" will be only in the first two days of the training camp starting tomorrow - on Monday and Tuesday, and on Wednesday the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina will move to Zenica, where the match with the national team of Ukraine will be held a day later.
