Przeglad Sportowy, one of the popular Polish sports media, paid attention to the statements made by Oleksandr Hatzkiewicz, the head coach of Zaglembe Sosnowiec, after his team's recent 0-4 away defeat to Lechia Gdansk.
The material of the publication, dedicated to this match, came out with the following headline: "Absurd explanations for the defeat after the match in Gdansk".
"Zaglembe coach Aleksandr Khatskevich admitted that his wards were depressed.... by the stadium of the hosts. Unusual comment of the Belarusian specialist quickly spread on the Internet," reads the publication.
Recall, Khatskevich, commenting on the defeat of "Zaglembe" from "Lechia" at the post-match press conference, said: "Some of our players were influenced by this beautiful stadium. And for the first 12-15 minutes the guys did not understand what to do on the football field. Many of our players were playing in such a big stadium for the first time".
