Serie A outfit sack coach after five matches

The last team in the Italian Serie A, Salernitana, has announced the dismissal of head coach Fabio Liverani.

Liverani took charge of the Garnet on 11 February this year, replacing Filippo Inzaghi. Under his leadership, the team played five matches and earned one point.

According to Nikola Skira, Stefano Colantuono, who currently leads the club's youth team, will become the new head coach of Salernitana.

After 29 rounds of the Italian league, Salernitana is 20th in the standings, 11 points behind the 17th place.
