Roman Yaremchuk: "It's good that everything ends well"

Ukraine forward Roman Yaremchuk commented on the team's victory over Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Euro 2024 play-offs on MEGOGO.

Roman Yaremchuk

- Roman, congratulations on your victory. An incredible match, a fantastic comeback. How did you manage to save the match?

- I think it's all because we are a team. Everyone believed in the victory to the end, who played on the field, who was a substitute. It's good that everything ends well, because it was a really difficult match. The opponent was running out the clock at the end, it was hard, but thank God everything ended well.

We are preparing for the next match. The team said that we already have experience from the match with Wales, so that this will not happen again. Today's match is already history, so we have to be fully concentrated.

- You have been showing good form lately. What is the secret to your success?

- There are no secrets. You just need to work hard, believe in God, believe in what you are doing.

- How did your opponent surprise you?

- They defended well, ran out to attack, and Jacko was clinging to the balls. As I said, it's good that everything ends well. We are going to Poland in a good mood.

- What did Serhii Rebrov say to the team during the break?

- He told us how to build the game tactically to open up the opponent's defence. We needed to add more aggression. We tried to make the most of our chances and in the second half we succeeded.

- How do you feel playing as a two-forward?

- I feel like a fish in water when we play together. It's the same at the club. It's very comfortable to play with Artem.

- What happened in the moment with the missed goal?

- Honestly, I didn't see it, because I was on the other side of the pitch warming up. But I am sure we will analyse this episode in theory and everything will be fine.
